In accordance with the fifth outbreak of COVID-19 Omicron variant in Hong Kong, the city has taken number of urgent social distance tightening measures including no dinner dine-in, shutdown of gyms and beauty houses etc. The HKSAR Government announced the launch of the 5th round of Anti-epidemic Fund on 14th Jan 2022 to offer one-off subsidy to affected premises and individuals.
The premises are catering business, pubs, karaoke boxes, nightclubs, beauty houses, cinemas, gyms and etc. Individuals are tutors, registered trainers, performers and certain drivers etc. The earliest application date is 17th Jan (Mon) and the application period lasts from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.
